PREVAIL!™ For Schools
Most Effective, Virtual E-Learning Active Shooter Training Course for K-12 School Staff!
PREPARING FOR THE ACTIVE SHOOTER
An active shooter situation is something few of us have prepared for… and it’s that lack of preparation that raises anxiety and fear. Training not only helps to reduce fear & anxiety but also enhances our ability to make timely decisions that lead to immediate and appropriate response. PREVAIL!™ FOR SCHOOLS Designed to help all school staff respond in violent situations including an active shooter threat. The goals and objectives of PREVAIL!™ for SCHOOLS provide educational leadership and staff with information and strategies to recognize and respond to the dynamic challenges and issues of violent incidents within school environments.
“Parents, it will be a teacher standing between a killer and your child. Know that the teacher will protect your babies. Educators, if you find yourself in such a situation, you are going to want to be pre.pared. The beautiful thing is that training exists, and it is not hard to learn. All of us want to go home to the people we love each day. Taking a small amount of time to train can help make sure that happens.” Retired school administrator whose district received Active Shooter/Intruder Response Training and subsequently experienced multiple shooting events at their school over the years.

The S.A.F.E. Approach for Business is designed specifically for those in the professional, commercial, and service industries where the effective use of verbal and non-verbal communication skills can reduce the risk of negative or violent encounters with customers and the public in general.
At the heart of The S.A.F.E. Approach is the concept of recognizing potentially hazardous situations and mitigating their impact all while treating individuals with dignity and respect – a key component. We know that compassion, empathy, and a comprehensive understanding of human behavior can resolve or even prevent most conflicts. It’s only on rare occasions that an individual must resort to some form of defensive posture or response, but it’s this key component of our training that separates The S.A.F.E. Approach™ from many others: our simple, effective, and easy-to-remember methods for enhancing personal safety.
Businesses today face an ever-increasing responsibility to care for and protect their employees. All employers have a general duty to provide their employees with a workplace free from recognized hazards likely to cause death or serious physical harm. Not only must you concern yourself with the quality of service or goods you provide, but you also have a duty to protect these individuals from recognized likely causes of physical harm.
Quite frankly, there are a number of considerations you face in bringing a complete workplace violence reduction program to your business. From civil and criminal law to satisfying your customers, each of these requirements has costs associated with them, both in staff training and curriculum expense. As businesses strive to minimize expenses and better manage assets, administrators are looking for programs that are cost-effective and yet provide excellent training and resources to assist in protecting all who enter their facilities.
This is why The S.A.F.E. Approach method was developed; to provide corporate owners, administrators, security directors, and others peace of mind in knowing that their employees – at all levels – have been trained in effective methods of resolving conflict. As you familiarize yourself with our program, you will see that we have extensive experience in conflict resolution.
The word Safe in The S.A.F.E. Approach tends to speak for itself; however, to further define our program, we use the acronym S.A.F.E. as follows:
