I will encourage everyone I know to attend this course. I feel that
this type of training is the "Cutting Edge" of law enforcement
training. This is what the field needs!
I want to thank
each of you for the opportunity I had during your program in March
in Kansas City. The training was very worthwhile and I gleaned much
in a short time. When I got home I wrote down my own notes so that
I could follow through with some of the concepts and new skills
I began while in your program.
I came with
a desire to improve in several areas where I knew I was lacking.
I had the chance to refresh some things and learn many others. I
had the opportunity to assess my physical and tactical skills and
I identified several areas where I needed to improve. I have since
taken positive action to do just that.
I found your
attitudes to be positive and your enthusiasm to be genuine. I met
several fellows and made new friends who seemed to enjoy life and
their professional careers as much as I enjoy mine. These days that
is very refreshing.
I am a follower
of many "old school" ways and one of those is to honor
your teachers, instructors and mentors. Since I have blown the traditional
window of opportunity for a timely bottle of single malt or port,
a fine cigar, silver coin, original gangster patch, etc., would
you please allow me the privilege of simply saying "thank you."
I look forward to having you here in Columbia for an instructor's
school and spending more time together. Please continue the legacy
and keep doing it right. You are saving lives. What could be more
noble? Stay Safe,
Todd
