I am writing regarding the recent Low Light Instructor Course Surefire held at Gunsite. First I would like to say that the class was outstanding. It was very informative and brought out a lot of new information. It opened my eyes to new tactics and ways of training officers in my P.D. Second, I would like to comment on your training staff. All three instructors were very knowledgeable with the information they were teaching. They were also approachable and did not have the typical " I am the instructor " ego. I found these guys to be easy going and willing to learn from the students as much as they were willing to teach us. I enjoyed the fact that the class was stressed that this would be a week of training and not just a course to add to the resume. I pay for all of my own training, and get tired of seeing instructors that are burnt out or there becuase they get paid to shoot. I hope the Surefire Institute keeps its high standards regarding training and instructors. Your courses will be highly recommended to everyone I talk with. I hope to see your Progessive Low Light Shooting course offered soon. Thanks for your time spent on this. Respecfully,

Chris Lapre

The crew from Strategos International did a tremendous job with their low light combatives course. I attended the instructor course and I could state that the training was the most informative and life saving stuff I have seen. The program was run in a professional manner. I have been a police officer for 17 years and attended many courses throughout my career. This class was by far some of the best training that I received. The techniques are simple and effective. I would highly recommend any law enforcement officer or trainer take these courses. Great training and great people.

G'day Vaughn,
I recently had the pleasure of attending the Low Light Instructors Course as organized & conducted by Ken J. Good, Vaughn Baker, & Wade Rorich.

As former SAS Warrant Officer & now a professional firearms instructor for Simunition & AimPoint I approached the Low Light programme of instruction with some apprehension as to what Ken Good & his instructional team could offer.

The direct answer is a lot. The instruction was both professional, very
practical also to the point. The attitude of the instructional team was
excellent, with a refreshing lack of arrogance from all of Ken Goood's very professional instructors.

I was practically impressed by the combination of Force on Force concepts & practical range practices. Their programme of instruction is based on the true operational realities & real life experience rather than some form of classroom thesis.

I have no hesitation in recommending the reality based programmes of
instructions as provided by Strategos International to any police or
military who may become involved in any form of low light conflict. This programme should be mandatory & will, without doubt increase the chances of officer survival & thus eventually save lives.
